Oscar is a versatile professional drummer based in London and Manchester, with experience performing across a wide range of musical styles and settings. From jazz, big band, rock and funk to Latin, folk and contemporary music, Oscar brings a flexible and musical approach to every project.

Book a Band
The Oscar Williams Trio is an exciting new band comprising of Toby Evans on the Guitar, Zaki Osahn on the Bass and Oscar Williams on the Drums. They have a distinct sound which they bring to a wide range of repertoire. Oscar enjoys to write for these players and has written many tunes and arrangements for this exact lineup. Their approach is highly malleable and focuses on intense listening and taking the music on a journey, never playing a piece the same way twice. After cutting their teeth at their residency at the Lock Tavern they are now ready to take their music further afield.
The band takes great influence from Bill Frisell, Julian Lage, Mike Walker, Pat Metheney, Lionel Loueke as well as Artists like Sixto Rodriguez and Joni Mitchell.

Teaching
Oscar is a professionally trained musician with an LRAM (teaching) qualification and extensive experience teaching both one-to-one and group sessions. He offers tailored drum lessons for players of all ages and abilities, with a focus on developing solid technique, confidence and musicality.
Lessons can be arranged in person at your home or online, while workshops and group sessions can be delivered at a suitable venue of your choice.
