Alongside his work as a sideman, he is an active bandleader, presenting his original compositions at venues across London. His music is performed with his trio and his recently formed quintet, Escapades. He also leads a quartet dedicated to the Great American Songbook, featuring a rotating lineup of leading young musicians, including guitarist Honey Boulton.

Oscar is equally active in the rock and pop scene, performing regularly with Sweet Return. The band reached a notable milestone by supporting Babyshambles at a sold-out show at Nottingham Rock City.

His performance experience also extends to musical theatre and touring productions. In December 2024, he performed in the pantomime, Sleeping Beauty in the Stockport Plaza and in June/July 2026 in Chess with the Royal Academy of Music Musical Theatre Department under the musical direction of Daniel Bowling. He has also toured with Peregrine Circus, a renowned travelling production combining circus, folk music, and storytelling.

With a deep enthusiasm for Brazilian and Cuban music, Oscar performs regularly with Ishy Aasgaard’s Cuban Band and a project dedicated to the music of Hermeto Pascoal.
